The Beaufart™ Bureau
Established in 1805 in the spirit of Sir Francis Beaufort, the Bureau is dedicated to the scientific study, measurement, and documentation of atmospheric disturbances of the most personal nature.
The Beaufart™ Bureau exists to bring scientific rigour to a subject too long ignored by mainstream academia. Through careful observation, precise measurement, and meticulous documentation, we seek to understand the full spectrum of human flatulence and its impact on our environment and society. Our work is not merely academic—it is a service to humanity, providing a common language for discussing what was previously indescribable.

Dr. Francis Beaufart
Director General
Grandson of the legendary Sir Francis Beaufort, Dr. Beaufart pivoted the family legacy from wind measurement to a more... personal form of atmospheric disturbance. Holds dual PhDs in Gastroenterology and Acoustic Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
Specialisation: Historical Flatulence Patterns

Professor Greta Van Der Poot
Chief Scientific Officer
Former NASA acoustics engineer who found her true calling after an incident in an Apollo simulator. Pioneer of the Poot-Richter Resonance Scale.
Specialisation: Subsonic Emission Analysis

Dr. Barry Bottomsworth III
Head of Field Research
Renowned field researcher with over 40,000 documented emissions across 6 continents. His ears are registered as precision instruments in 12 countries.
